Ok. I actualized it by a Dos window.

Re: Updating firmware with protected bootloader.

Hi,
I have two 56 input 644 boards where one is slaved to the other. I updated the master board without a problem, but when I went to update the second (on a Mac) I'm getting an error:
Code: Select all
Transferring.. \ 0% done.Read 0 bytes (error?)
Retrying on CRC error

And it just keeps looping. Also, the LED on the master is flashing, but not on the slave. Any tips on updating the slave?

Firmware update must be done without slaving MegaDrum devices.

I can't seem to load the firmware Dmitri, I think it's problem with vista. The run screen disappears.

I'll worry about it next month with my new pc.

cheers

You run 'cmd' from the start menu and it disappears?

Opening mdfwupdate flickers then disappears. I did manage this a couple of months ago. but lord only knows what I did.

You miss the important bit from the update instruction:
4. From a command line run the utility

which means you run mdfwupdate from a command line, i.e. you must run cmd first.
