Choke on a HiHat pedal? Maybe you mean choke on the HiHat cymbal? In this case it is yes.

2. how can i assign sounds from other drum machines thru midi to specific pads ,

By assigning required MIDI Notes to any of pads.

3. how do i map the tones to each pad / cymbal , Hi hat etc.. 4 Vsti/s

You do it by assigning Notes in MegaDrum and mapping sounds to notes in Vsti's.

4.do u ship to India and UK ?? what would that cost ?
wwhat is the weight of the 32 module?

Shipping to India is 20GBP. It weighs just under 1kg.

does 32 mean 16 inputs in stereo , so rim n pad , or 2 pads ??

The 32 inputs module has 17 jacks: 1 for a HiHat pedal, 1 for Kick and 15 stereo jacks which you can use with 15 dual/triple zone pads/cymbals or 30 single zone pads/cymbals using Y-splitter cables.

what the difference on the 56 in puts , n the costs ? n the weight ?

Different number of inputs, different enclosures, different wights and different costs.

5.what the the other optional add on i might decide ,
5.what do the add on cards like positional sensing do?

The only optional addon is the Positional sensing addon. It enables positional sensing on 5 inputs for mesh type pads with centrally located piezo cones.
6. can i buy the parts only n assemble them my self , to save on custom duties here in India ?

You can go after one of MegaDrum kits: http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtop ... f=3&t=1420
You will have to add your own enclosure and input jacks.

7. how difficult is it to assemble them ?? like in a pc , pin 1 to pin 1 assembly?

With kits you will have to do some soldering of input jacks. The rest is just drilling your own enclosure and then doing some plugging and screwing.

8. i have some experience assembeling computers for several yrs..
9. do u have the history chart of upgrades on the eprom ?

http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtop ... f=3&t=1075

10. r the future update/ grades on the firm ware chargeable?

No.

11. what r the warranties like ..

VH 11 Choke on a HiHat pedal? yes , the foot pedal is a regular pedel wher u can mount the acoustic choke , it only works , with certain Roland units like the spd 20 . TD 20 etc , got 2 jackpin one on the choke one on the base unit.

2. how can i assign sounds from other drum machines thru midi to specific pads ,

By assigning required MIDI Notes to any of pads. any link to how to do it ?? or youtubes??

what is the weight of the 56 module?

Shipping to India 56 Model ?

Y-splitter cables how is that soldered , in stereo ??

what the difference on the 32 and 56 in puts , n the costs ? n the weight ? and other details ?

Different number of inputs, different enclosures, different wights and different costs. Pls specify differences n costs n weight etc .. can i upgrade to the 56 later , does it require a total change of the pcb ??

do you have any users in India , i can check n communicate with ??

5.what the the other optional add on i might decide ,
5.what do the add on cards like positional sensing do? how much does the card costs , is this only for the mesh pads ?? 4 ill never use a mesh pad i think , so would i require one??

6. can i buy the parts only n assemble them my self , to save on custom duties here in India ? any youtubes links on this ??

7. how difficult is it to assemble them ?? like in a pc , pin 1 to pin 1 assembly? any visual youtubes on this ??

are there ?? do you have drivers for win 8 x 64 bit ??

can the editor if there is one ? work inside of cubase 6?
for win 7 n win 8 x64 bit environment ?
can you save presets , after making your own drum kit , assigned to my choice of drum pads n cymbals ...
we also run a DAW school , will there be some kinda of discount / reseller rates for bulk orders for our students ??

does it have a pc interface software , to assign / control the megadrum ?

You can make Y-splitter cable yourself or buy it, e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/171022351888
For 56 inputs module Shipping to India is 28GBP, in the UK - 15GBP.
You may become the first MegaDrum user from India.
MegaDrum is USB MIDI Compliant so drivers are already built-in into all moders OSs.
MegaDrum will work with any MIDI aware soft.
MegaDrum have EEPROM to save configs(presets)
You can configure MegaDrum with MDM: http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-manager
If you used Google, you would have found answers to all these questions.

I am from India and am using megadrum for the past 6 months. I made a 32 input myself programmed the ATMEGA32 with the last unencrypted firmware. And its working great on toontrack solo EZ drummer.
