Hmm....

Why is the goal for many DIY builders to hit the absolutly lowest pricepoint solution...Are you not going to play drums in the end? I have trouble to understand why not just buy a complete ARM based kit from Dmitri...and get all features like the latest encrypted bootloader, firmware, speed, positional sensing and more...and a nice rolls-royce device to be able to play drums with...okey...the price is a bit higher for these kits but you are still miles in price from buying a complete kit from Roland.

On a sidenote I also don't get how people can know the intricacies of electronics and not be able to communicate on a reasonably normal level, and I don't mean english not being their first language (which is perfectly fine obviously). I find it quite bizarre on this board, I will never know how Dmitri has the patience.
