Have you built MegaDrum without LCD and keyboard?
What version of MegaDrum firmware did you use?

It depends.

All the latest MegaDrum firmware versions since the version 20080209 are not compatible with old version of MD Controller( and there is no new version). You can use MIDI-OX to capture SysEx configuration dumps from MegaDrum, manually edit them and send the config back to MegaDrum but it is a very cumbersome process (you will need to read and understand this http://www.megadrum.info/menu_layout.pdf). You can also nag aquawicket at http://www.edrummonitor.com/forum/viewf ... =d&start=0 to add support for latest versions of MegaDrum. You can check if MegaDrum works using the smae MIDI-OX. In this program you'll be able to see if MegaDrum sends MIDI data.

Yes, let's nag aquawicket ! ;)

As aquawicket seem little invests in the update of its support,
could anybody program a MD controller?
A good soul for the project? :|

Hmmm, if I find a nice midi programming API, I would think about making a software controller.
The only thing it needs to be capable of is reading and sending Sysex data, the user interface customized
for megadrums settings, right?
