Anything else I need to look at?
Hi hat is set at input 50, and disabled (midi note 0)
Disabled all the notes in the hi hat settings, pot (from the drop down)

Disabling a HiHat cymbal doesn't disable a HiHat pedal.
Are you saying that you set HiHat Pedal->Type to Pot and it still sends CC messages? Post you HiHat Pedal settings screenshot along with Raw MIDI Log showing CC 4 messages.

Just to be clear that I have no physical Hihat nor have I wired anything related to it.

The raw midi is, as above. Every pad and cymbal is affected no matter the midi channel.

Set LowLevel to 1022, HighLevel to 1023. Connect HiHat pedal input to ground. Take a picture of the LCD showing HiHat Type.

OK solved.

It has nothing to do with the hi hat, its the cc message for triggered in.
