Sure. When I set Gain to 3 i got maximum velocity 119. So I have to lower HighLevel to 708 to get maximum velocity on hardest hits. Actually I have tried all Gains.

This is very strange and I've never seen this behavior where you set HighLevel to value x and can easily get max velocity and with HighLevel set to x+1 you can never get max velocity. These are very peculiar cymbals.
As an experiment, can you try it with a 10-20k resistor inline between the cymbal and the input?

Dmitri, congrats! Situation improved with 10k potentiometer! Dynamic range is OK now! ;) Strange, I've tried this before, but that time I probably got wrong potentiometer... Thank you very much!

I agree! Maybe there some electronics inside?

By the way, does that mean that pads are too hot? Because they do not fall in this category according to this algorithm:

Just to confirm, there is no way you design PS board with 10 PS-inputs. Is it? Just wanted to use PS on all pads allowing it. Like TD-30. According to videos that sounds great!

It worked with all "hot" pads I had but there might be something peculiar with these particular cymbals. Just my theory.

Not on the same PCB form factor, not enough space there for both extra parts and tracks.

I agree, I confused to ask for this just for me. If other users wanted to update, it would be reasonable to keep form-factor. But how many users does really want this update?...
Maybe I'll do it with help of my friend, who is technician. Dmitry, I am quite unfamiliar with the process of circuit designing. Could you explain a little? Do you give a project of PCB to a production company, and they build it for you? I found company that can produce two sided and multilevel PCBs!

I design PCBs (and schematics as well) myself using a great open source software suite called KiCad: http://www.kicad-pcb.org/display/KICAD/ ... ware+Suite
Once a PCB is designed I produce Gerber files from it and order a PCB batch from one of the online PCB production shops - there multitude of those on Internet: http://www.google.co.uk/#q=PCB+fabrication
Ordering a small batch can be quite expensive so when prototyping I sometimes do PCBs using a CNC router or a "laser transfer" method. When I'm short of time (which I'm quite often) I bite the bullet and order a small batch anyway.

Dmitri, thank you very much! Could you please send me your PS PCB project files? We'll try them tomorrow!
Best regards!
Alek

Sorry, for various reasons I don't provide PCB designs for kits and PS boards I offer
but since the schematic is freely available and quite simple you, or someone with some PCB design skills,
can easily design a new PCB.
