1. The Tom 1 Note (105) in the config matches the Tom 1 note in the MIDI Log (0x69 is equal 105).
But neither of HiHat Notes (8 and 7) in the config matches the HiHat note in the MIDI Log (0x2a is equal 42). Are you testing it with HiHat pedal open? If not then make sure you do the test with the HiHat pedal open. Otherwise it makes this particular troubleshooting more complicated.

2. MinScan on Tom 1 is twice longer than MinScan on HiHat. This may cause HiHat to trigger due to crosstalk earlier than Tom 1 hence preventing crosstalk suppression from kicking in. Either reduce MinScan on Tom1 or increase it on HiHat.

Why is the hihat -edge threshold on 0. I am guessing it would trigger, even if your neighbour flushes the toilet. :-)

It is a Switch type input so it is most likely irrelevant in this case.

Sorry - My bad... Did not even look on the type of trigger.

You learn something every day, i did not know about the minscan/xtalk scenario. Now I realised a problem on my e-cajon. Thank you!!!

I was trying it with the pedal not even connected (removed hh pedal and cable..no antenna ) to remove that from the equation

the reason I have a different setting for the head and it was xtriggering the head not the rim ... it was for trouble shooting

ok so I set both mid scans to the same value (30) and still was cross triggering so I decided to move the hihat to the last port on the md and does not trigger tom 1 now it slightly triggers tom 3 ( I used the same exact settings (loaded the same svx file) and it works great ... but the big question is ? Why ?

Sorry, I read it several times but I cannot understand exactly what you did, what the problem is and what is "Why" for.

This may cause HiHat to trigger due to crosstalk earlier than Tom 1 hence preventing crosstalk suppression from kicking in. Either reduce MinScan on Tom1 or increase it on HiHat

so I made the mid scan 30 on the hihat and the tom but it still was not working ...

so as a last effort I tried it in a different port (the last port) to move it away from tom 1 physically in the megadrum

and it works much better but now triggers tom 3 slightly when I hit tom 1 ligthtly

the setting were exactly the same only change was physical ..
why would it work better in the last port and not port 3?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my new problems are my pedal does not work properly (I did tell it the new location of the hi hat )
if I hit the hihat and slowly press the pedal it remains open
if I hit the hi hat and quickly press the pedal it closes like it should

if i have the pedal down and hit the hihat ,pedal up and back down sometimes it stays open
I think I can live with everything else but this is important that it works
it sounds like a setting

same results in
AD1 , BFD 1 & 2 and Superior Drummer 2

I might have fixed it ignore this post for now .. ill check it when I get home from work

After you made config changes, make screenshots of settings for two inputs with crosstalk problem and make a screenshot of MIDI raw log showing MIDI data when the crosstalk happens.

I am so confused just when think I have it set another problem pops up .. it seems worse since I did the new update

What "new update"?

why am I getting so much cross talking ... all of a sudden

So is it more crosstalk or less crosstalk after last config change and moving pads/cymbals between inputs? Or is it like 5 min ago there were no crosstalk and now I have crosstalk. Please be more specific and precise because most of the time I'm trying to decipher what you did, what config you have and how a problem manifest itself.

When we get to the root of your problem I may post a test firmware version with a possible fix for you to test.
