Can 74HC4851 and 74HC4051 work together?

Hi Guys,
I have 3 pics 74HC4851. I bought them for microdrum project based Arduino but now i decided to build megadrum with 32 inputs.
Is it possible to use 3 pics 4851 and one 4051 together in a megadrum board?
(In my country It is not easy to find a 4851. I bought the 4851s from Massimo Bernava who is the owner of the microdrum project. Now i dont want to pay shipping price and wait 3 weeks just for one 4851 again. But i can easily find 4051 and Bat85 in my country without waiting and shipping.)

You can use 4051 multiplexers as long you use bat85 diodes and 100R limiting resistors on each of its 8 inputs.
