Not sure if this is a suggestions thread, but I'd like to see a duplicate note detection feature in MDM.
Something like, changing the Note A# -1 to orange underline if it detects another input is using the same note.

Not a critical feature by any means, but useful for validation checking in MDM rather than finding out later in the VST.

Can you elaborate a bit more about what you want MDM to do? I'm not sure I understood you.

Okay, so if I go to input 1 Kick

set as Note: 36

Send it, then I go to input 2 HiHatB

set as Note: 36

MDM would then turn the text orange to indicate it was used already on another input.

e.g. Note 36 C 1 [used]

Some notes have to be duplicated, like some of the hihat notes, (so maybe ignore duplicated notes in the HiHat pedal) but have it so MDM detects duplicated notes assigned between the rest of the inputs.

Current version - setting latency to 11 left 4 artifacts on the lower row on MD screen.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

Just tested it with Atmega1284 and both old and new STM32 versions and I don't see any artifacts. What artifacts are you seeing?
Maybe you're seeing the effects "visual cue to see if pads Thresholds are set too low" as described in http://www.megadrum.info/content/miscellaneous-settings when Latency is set to an odd value?

I'm just tweaking through MDM trying to fine tune my HiHat response. I just wondered, if there is a documentation available of every implemented MDM setting? For example when I try to find out what the setting "Chick Dead Period" actually does I can't find any information neither on the forum nor the megadrum documentation. There are more settings whose function and proper handling are not very clear to me. So...what would you suggest? Is there any other source of information? Please help, I'd really like to know what every option does, because I'm not fully content with the feel of my eDrum right now and I think there is potential for inprovement, if I understood the real capabilities of your software. Thanks :)

Thank you, but I already went through the documentation. Obviously I missed the passage where "Chick Dead Period" is explained. Can you please point out where to find it? It's not there under HiHat settings.
