I'm happy to work/help on this, but there need to be some consensus on which path to follow, and if it could be done at all using a wrapper.
Dmitri should comment on this, as he is the guy that knows JAVA inside out and if it could communicate through HTML/CSS, or something else perhaps.

With right libraries (ready available or written from scratch) Java can communicate through anything, including HTML/CSS.
You can take MDM source, throw all GUI stuff from it, and add needed libraries and wrapper on top of it. Or you could use MDM source just as a reference to develop everything from scratch.

Instead, I pushed MegaDrum repository to github.
You can clone it from https://github.com/kajuk/MegaDrumManager.git

Right... I downloaded and installed Eclipse, but I really do not see any Interface Builder or something anywhere. It seems to be all in the code, which does make it pretty essential to get knowledge of Java-programming.
Doesn't Java has some kind of graphical Interface builder or something? (I downloaded Window Builder, which wasn't what I needed at all). Do you really literally program the UI for MDM, or am I missing some things here?

I did graphical UI in Eclipese with WindowBuilder.

Then how could one open up the GUI there, without messing with the rest of the source code?
