Need help diagnosing possible hardware faults in MD

Yes it has occurred to me the pedal may have weird wiring and I've mentioned it in a couple of posts/messages. Will open it up soon.

By setting up the goedrum cymbal correctly I guess you mean as per Yamaha style 3 way setup, yes have done that. Then tried honing in via choke on the edge switch.

I will find or create threads for these things as they come up over time. Just wanted to post back with overview.

Please consider this thread closed. Both Dmitri and I are satisfied there are no hardware faults in my unit.
