Save where, in MegaDrum EEPROM? You have to use 'Save to Slot' in MDM for that.

Ok What exactly is EEPROM? When I save...what slot? Does slot refer to the channel? would the hihats be slot 3? And controller be slot 1?

EEPROM is MegaDrum internal non-volatile memory. Slots are individual Configs in MegaDrum EEPROM. Read about MegaDrum EEPROM and Configs in http://www.megadrum.info/content/miscellaneous-settings

Yea I am a bit confused. So, MDM will not control everything to MD you need to configure MD as well? Is that correct?

Well it will, the general idea is to make changes in MDM and send to MD. As you've probably gathered, MDM is much easier to work with.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

With MDM you can control everything MegaDrum. What in particular are you not able to control?

Ok, so why would I be getting sysEx Timeouts after I make changes. Yesterday when I just turned everything on...I got a constant hihat...now I seem to have no sound after trying to make some changes. I am just trying to save changes to the hi hat PCY 135RHH to start. I am using SD2 and my audio out is steinburg UR824. Maybe iI somehow dont have the output set correctly now.

E.g. you've not saved MDM Options so it doesn't have correct MIDI ports set.

Yesterday when I just turned everything on...I got a constant hihat

What is "a constant hihat'? A HiHat cymbal or a HiHat pedal?

...now I seem to have no sound after trying to make some changes.

Did you configure SD2 and MDM to use different MegaDrum ports? MegaDrum has two ports to allow MDM to control MegaDrum over one port and another port to use with a soft synth at the same time.

I am just trying to save changes to the hi hat PCY 135RHH to start.

Again, where do you save them? In MDM to a file or in MegaDrum to a Slot/Config? Did you read about AutoloadConf?

Can you make a video showing SysEx Timeout when saving to a Slot 1?
