Megadrum Xylophone

I have seen a couple of posts here from people who have made pitched instruments with the Megadrum. I made this one for the percussion department at Dixie State University where I teach double bass and music technology. I'm calling it a MIDIrimba.

This video is of the first performance with the instrument at our electro-acoustic concert last year. Both the bass and the MIDIrimba are running through Ableton on one laptop. The bass has a Wiimote attached to it to control panning and effects.
