having a look to the schematics in the provided manual, I can't find any "security" such as Zener or Schottky based ones. how can your system survive to voltage higher than 5V? I know that many piezo can deliver voltage up to 30V, and I wonder if this can be destructive ?

Can the 56 input minimal kit be used with only USB connection and jumper on power-switch-connector like mentioned in the thread for the lite kit (no display, buttons, midi-ports...)?

Hello Dmitri, I am from Brazil and I am interested in the Full Kit, but I have a doubt ... from what I saw there are 2 Flat Cable one with 40 ways and another with 20 ways, how do I connect 56 pads in the system? Each pad uses 2 ways, right? In this full system I can only connect 30 pad's, is that right? And how much is the Full Kit and shipping to Brazil Zip Code 02258-220? I'm going to set up the system right here.

For once i can answer a question...

The overall number of input-pins on the board is 60 but they are not signal and ground in pairs.
Ground is found for all inputs on pin 15 and 16 of connector 1.

Connector 2:
Head and Rim for Aux 10 - Aux 19 (20 pins)

Connector 1:
Head and Rim for Aux 1 - Aux 9 (18 pins)
Head and Rim / Bow and Edge for Hihat, Snare, Ride, Crash, Tom1 - Tom4 (16 pins)
Kick, Pedal Power, Low and High Impedance Pedal (4 pins)
2x ground (2 pins)

20 + 18 + 16 +4 + 2= 60 pins
