Head-Rim Crosstalk problem on input 6-7

Postby maru_engineering » Sat Mar 04, 2017 2:00 pm

Dmitri, could you please take a look at this and if it's not a configuration problem could you please let me know what to check on the hardware side?

Short explanation: I'm trying to fine adjust the toms; I had this separation problem with the Small Tom... Then I copied the parameters of input 6-7 to input 8-9 (except the note numbers) and used the same cable / trigger / tom (basically I moved TRS jack from in 6-7 to the next input) and I got good results.

You have to fine tune MidPoint for best zone separation on a dual piezo/piezo pad.

Any reason why the crosstalk level is at 0?

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

Hi Angr!

No, but I'm working on a single pad now, I didn't assemble the whole drum kit yet... But I thought if it's ok for the other input... Anyway, I will give it a shot...

Default is 4 for group 0, right?

You also have to make sure that HighLevel is set correctly for both zones. After that you have to adjust the MidPoint. How did you set HighLevels?

As per instructions:

I left intentionally for the purpose of the screenshot the High Auto Levels to on, I want to cool down the Rim Piezo...

The point is that on the next input (8-9) with the same setting it is working fine... (of course, same pad, same trigger, same cable)...

Maybe it's not clear in the picture because the initial events went away... I will redo...
