That is great! That makes me more anxious about getting Superior 2.0 when it comes out. Hope megadrum could implement pos. sensing some day;)

Just for the sake of completeness:
Also Addictive Drums seems to offer two different zone sounds:
Here you can hear all the different stroke types on the snare: Tip in the middle, tip closer to the rim, rimshot in the middle, rimshot closer to the rim, side stick and finally just hitting the rim.
Quoted from the XLN webpage, found in 'Audio Demo'->'Technique'->'Snare Stroke Types'

Thanks. Now what's the difference between a "switched" jack and a "non-switched jack"? Which do I need for the module?

With a "switched" jack, if the jack was not plugged, inputs can be connected to ground.
This avoids parasites if inputs are not used.

You can use "switched" jack or "non-switched" jack for Megadrum.

The full kit arrived today. I don't see the ribbon connectors for the audio jacks so I'll get that and the LCD this weekend.

Ribbon connectors are in the kit.
For Ribbon cable, you can use an old IDE cable. ;)
