Using sustain pedal (N.O. switch) to trigger a note

Postby jungleb » Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:34 pm

Is it able to use a sustain pedal (normally open switch) as an input on megadrum?

It seems that switch option is only available if a piezo is before it.
I attempted to plug it and tryied some configuration but with no success.

Does anyone knows if its possible and how to do it?

thank you

PS. I am loving the Mega 52 Input.

Thanks Dmitri!

You can use the pedal on switch inputs but indeed the the head/bow input must be configured as dual/piezo/switch. And you can use it to send Program Change message. See Function in https://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings
