Let me guess. You're using Roland PDS-625STV as a snare, 5-zones mesh toms, Alesis cymbals and your settings on all channels are:
Note: 50
Curve: Random
Threshold: 50
Gain: 50
HiLvlAuto: Always

Am I right?

I was desperately trying to make the 16MHz firmware work with a 20MHz crystal. Very clever. From now on I'll sleep more, think more and ask less :)

So it is overclocked Atmega32. Beware of problems when overclocking.
Still problems with USB?

I used what was provided with the kit, but maybe I'll check if my local electronics store has 16MHz crystals to avoid unnecessary risks.

USB works now that I have the right firmware installed.
