input DB25 + jack possible ?

Hello there,

I m about to make my MD, to plug my roland HD1 to my PC.
All the cables of HD1 finished in a single DB25 plug. So what I would like, is to have both a DB25 and all the (17) jacks entry on my box, to be able to plug either the HD1 with DB25 or something else later on with the jacks (of course not both in same times). Is it possible just to have the cable linked in parallel or, do I need a switch with an other PCB etc. ?
