clock2113, just in case you're still trying to find alternatives for Mac users...

I already mentionned Steim Junxion, but you can also try "USB Overdrive"
Fofix and different patches for Mac already exist and are still updated once in a while.
The Rock Band theme for Mac can be installed by following this procedure :

And finally, you might wanna take a look at the two following links :

scilence wrote:The more details is, i simply cut my RB drum controller up, took the insides and put them in the same box as the megadrum boards. i ran the grounds all to a db25 connector on one side and then jumped everything together on the otherside so that i could remove the ground for rockband by removing the external db25 plug. I wired the other 4 wires into the connections for the drums i wanted to use. then just turn on the rb controller and play away. they dont work together at the same time. im sure there is a better way of doing it but it works for my kids and is easy enough. this was with the 360 btw. seems to work great. havent had a single problem so far.

Do you think the exact same thing could be done with a Ps2 RB controller?

Frets On Fire actually has a midi plugin so you can use your electronic Midi triggered drums with it.

Oh that's great. I've never tried it. Same thing for a USB device? If not, then I guess a Midi translator software could do the job

I haven't used it but I was looking through the plugins because I play it from time to time and I saw one. Was like oh sweet! I will have to give it a try when my drums are up and going.
