Granted my soldering skill are at the novice level but I've built 2 each 2.5 version boards.
I ordered enough components for the both of them.
But neither board can be detected by any of my computers that's 4 desktops and 3 laptops.
I've spent hours with my multimeter checking and jumping bad traces.
And still I get the same results I don't know what else to check.
Are there drivers required for this project although I seen nothing in forum if that's the case?

By the way is the a pdf for the 2.7 version Megadrum.
I want to try with one of those.
Yes I know I'm a glutton for punishment. :D

For starters, you don't listen what I'm saying to you.

You don't even bother mentioning if you've programmed the ICs or not.
You don't mention what you measure with the multimeter.

And we're already on the third page of the thread.

No I have not programmed the IC's
How can I program the IC's if my computer can't even detect the board.
And I'm measuring for resistance at 10 ohms between traces.
Of course this is all new to me so I relies on the multimeter telling its good or bad connection.
Again I must say electronics is new to me and this is fantastic program since I am a musician.
I apologies for my lack of knowledge.
Sorry to be a bother I shall try not to pester you anymore.
I would hate to get banned or something.

Your computer can't detect the board if you have not programmed the IC's.

You must program IC's with ICSP's programming cable.

And if you have problems programming ICs, measure these voltages:

1. Between ground and pin 20 of PIC18F2550
2. Between ground and pin 14 of PIC18F2550
3. Between ground and pin 10 of Atmega32
4. Between ground and pin 30 of Atmega32

Also, tell us what crystals you use with Atmega32 and with PIC18F2550

Make sure you use the ICSP cable for programming PIC18F2550 and the ISP cable for programming Atmega32
