DIY Meshhead pad response

first of all I would like to thank dmitri for the amazing work he has done and for sharing it with us...

I have built a edrum module (from admir) and some DIY meshhead pads but I am not able to find a correct setting to have a great response during rolls and normal play. I have to choose either one or the other but not both at same time.

So I would like to know if the algorithm you are using is able to "find" the right pulse and not to trigger the meshhead oscillations.

I join a picture of the response of my diy meshhead pad :

Or the response is too noisy to be correctly triggered and I have to change the meshhead conception to have a cleaner signal.

I hope you understand what i mean...

I have both DIY and one of well known brands meshhead pads. All of them trigger nicely both with "normal" play and during rolls. The wave signal you attached seems to be quite long. Are you sure your pads are properly fixed and don't vibrate excessively after a hit? Anyway, MegaDrum, apart from usual retrigger delay which would not help here, has a mechanism to prevent false triggering with such signals. But again, without trying this pad it hard to say how MegaDrum will play along with it.

The oscillation looks a bit excessive, it almost start at half the value of the initial hit. You might have to adjust the height of your cones properly, it looks like they might be to low, or maybe the foam is too soft ... the mesh head may also have to be tighten a lilttle more.

Did you test ground (power noise, poor power, etc.) ?
