Yeah sorry - I meant the syx file should have these bytes already, we have to guess the PM referrence was to a device id change.

It was a rather terse effort to help either way...

I added 'Ah!' when I noticed our frustrated friend popping in for another look.
(Personally I have a hope he sticks with it :cry:

Yeah the device works just fine like I said I had a similar issue and then figured it out. The megadrum is very stable and the fact that he has flashing issues doesn't say anything about stability.

In the Atmega I sent to ypu, I use the new bootloader with a kind of protection from accidental MegaDrum firmware erasure.
