That sounds ok. From here the right key will show the firmware version - see https://www.megadrum.info/~megadrum/?q=content/general-info-about-megadrum-menu

You should see the date revision as per usual but I suppose there's a small chance the syx file has been corrupted, but I can't believe it...

Being now proficient in updating the firmware – you could download the firmware afresh and reprogram, however it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't.
The only other thing I can suggest is checking the file you used to do the update is ok and taking it from there.

For a PC:
Download this: http://www.nullriver.com/downloads/Inst ... Md5Sum.exe

Install the app with the default settings.
Once done right click on your megadrum32_16_32_20090306.syx file and choose
Send To->winMd5Sum

Paste the following checksum into the the Compare field.
1e28af8ebbf2ecec23f0cf3d492c83db

Click Compare.

If the sums are different you have created the improbability megadrive.

The firmware has always shown "MegaDrum.info".
Only the pictures I published in my "Kit to sell" post containing the text "All In One PCB v2.8 by Synthex".
