That sounds ok. From here the right key will show the firmware version - see https://www.megadrum.info/~megadrum/?q=content/general-info-about-megadrum-menu
You should see the date revision as per usual but I suppose there's a small chance the syx file has been corrupted, but I can't believe it...
Being now proficient in updating the firmware – you could download the firmware afresh and reprogram, however it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't.
The only other thing I can suggest is checking the file you used to do the update is ok and taking it from there.
For a PC:
Download this: http://www.nullriver.com/downloads/Inst ... Md5Sum.exe
Install the app with the default settings.
Once done right click on your megadrum32_16_32_20090306.syx file and choose
Send To->winMd5Sum
Paste the following checksum into the the Compare field.
1e28af8ebbf2ecec23f0cf3d492c83db
Click Compare.
If the sums are different you have created the improbability megadrive.
