After programming MCU, Next?

Ok I have successfully build both pcb and programmed both MCUs using dmitri's schematic. Iam connecting it through usb only no midi at all.

So I need to know about loading the firmware. I think Information given in the documentation is insufficient. Iam using 12 mHz crystal with pic18f22550 and 16 mHz crystal with atmega32-16pu.

So do i need connect Lcd and Keypad for loading firmware?

Which file and version must selected for loading firmware? I have read there are issue for firmware version. I have transfered the latest boot loader.

Can u list more details if possible.
