Can this be a hihat pedal alternative

Hi Guys,
I found a pedal on the net and I wondered that may I use it with my MD. Its a simple open-close switch I guess It has a 3.5 mm mono output. In my country they sale it with a name of Akita USb Drum. Its a simple machine that only uses its own voices no midi in or out , maybe in your countries they sell it in a different brand.

Yes, you can use any switch type HH pedal and this one in particular. It just seems to me they ask too much for this crappy plastic thing - I had one a couple of years ago so I can tell.

with this kind of a pedal which jumpers must be connected, on Inputs pcb for Synthex all in one 2.8

There is something wrong happening
when i did the jumper connections these above happened:
when i didnt press the pedal its open hihat default (when i hit hihat pad i get open hihat sound)
when I press pedal it colses the hihat
on lcd the first bar is at always top value (up left bar)
any idea

You have to assign sane values to 'Low Level' and 'High Level' and to the Bow/Edge Half-Open/Closed,Chick, Splash for that matter.
