Postby Synthex » Sun Dec 16, 2007 5:41 pm

Here is my last Digital PCB design :D

On the board :
- True USB with 18F2550
- Pot to adjust the LCD contrast
- KeyBoard diodes
- MIDI activity Led

All in a smaller space !!! :)

THIS DESIGN IS DEPRECATED http://www.megadrum.info/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=108&start=0

Great job! Maybe worth throwing in a few more decoupling capacitors and placing them closer to power pins of ICs?

For this type of circuit is quite sufficient.

hello all!
Maybe a estupid question, but, are the diodes inside the 74s1053 compatible with the bat 85? is there no problem?
Thanks.

The 74s1053 consists of a 16-bit high-speed Schottky diode array suitable for clamping to VCC and GND.
Exactly what we do with Schottky diode bat85 !
Then no problem ;)

synthex, Do you think the updates that Dmietri are doing for the 32 input will work with your very effiecient design? or have you gotten this working already? Just wondering.

It's already working ! ;)
I have already achieved the 32 inputs.
Dmitri should publish soon the firmware for 32 inputs version ...
